Roxanne and Jack’s wedding at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort was pure magic from start to finish. Set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, this day had everything — Disney touches, heartfelt moments, and just the right amount of laughter.
The couple went all-in on their Disney theme, and it couldn’t have suited them better. From table names inspired by their favourite films to subtle nods in the décor and music, every detail felt personal and fun without being over the top. Even their first dance had that fairytale touch — the kind of moment that makes everyone smile behind the camera.
Despite being an intimate celebration with fewer than 40 guests, the atmosphere was full of joy and energy. Everyone was there to celebrate Roxanne and Jack’s story — surrounded by their closest friends and family, it felt beautifully personal.
One of my favourite parts of the day was heading out onto the golf course for some portraits. The couple jumped into a golf buggy (my first ever ride in one — I was way too excited about it!) and we explored the grounds together. The views were stunning — wide, open greens and soft October light — the kind of backdrop that makes photos feel effortlessly romantic. A few golfers did wander into frame here and there, but nothing a little editing magic couldn’t fix!
We also had the talented YourReelContent on hand, capturing video and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the day. It’s always great working alongside creative teams like that — it makes everything flow so naturally for the couple and keeps the vibe relaxed.
Roxanne and Jack’s wedding was the perfect reminder that you don’t need a huge guest list to have an unforgettable day. Just love, laughter, and maybe a touch of Disney magic.
